1. What ScanCore is
ScanCore lets a shirt owner manage what a printed public QR code opens online. Depending on configuration, a public QR can redirect to a link or show a simple landing page with text, an image, and a CTA button.
2. Public QR and private owner link
- The public QR is intended to be printed on the shirt and scanned by other people. It should remain stable while the online destination can change.
- The private owner link or private QR works like an access key for editing the shirt destination and public content.
- Anyone with the private token can manage the related shirt, so do not publish it, send it to untrusted people, or place it where others can scan it freely.
3. Owner responsibilities
The shirt owner is responsible for the links, text, images, and CTA content they add to ScanCore. Content must be lawful, accurate enough not to mislead people scanning the QR, and respectful of third-party rights.
- Do not use ScanCore for phishing, malware, impersonation, fraud, harassment, illegal content, or content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Do not upload confidential files or personal data of other people unless you have a lawful basis and permission to use them.
- Keep the private token safe and contact ScanCore if you suspect it has been exposed.
4. Links and uploads
Owner-provided destination and CTA links must use public http:// or https:// URLs. ScanCore may reject malformed, unsafe, or unsupported links. Image uploads may be limited by file size, file type, and security checks.
5. Blocking, disabling, and token rotation
The operator may disable a shirt, block public access, remove unsafe content, or rotate a private token when needed to protect users, prevent abuse, fix an operational issue, comply with law, or respond to a credible security risk.
6. MVP availability
ScanCore is currently a lightweight MVP for validating dynamic QR apparel. We aim to keep public QR URLs stable, but the service may change, pause, or require maintenance while the pilot is improved.
7. Purchases and third-party platforms
If a shirt is purchased through an external shop or marketplace, payment, delivery, invoices, returns, and consumer purchase rights may also be governed by the terms of that external platform or seller. ScanCore terms cover the QR management service itself.
8. Intellectual property
ScanCore branding, interface, QR generation workflow, and service materials belong to BBest24 OÜ or its licensors. Shirt owners keep rights to their own lawful content, while granting ScanCore the limited permission needed to display that content through the public QR page.
9. Liability
ScanCore is provided with reasonable care for the pilot stage. To the extent permitted by law, BBest24 OÜ is not responsible for external websites, third-party platform outages, owner-provided content, lost private tokens, or indirect losses caused by use or inability to use the service.
10. Law, changes, and contact
These terms are governed by Estonian law, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that may apply in your country. We may update these terms as ScanCore develops. For questions, contact hello@scancore.eu.
